Sound bank question

My friend recently got a casio wk-1630. I hooked it up to my SB live Plat. When I hook it through the midi cables it plays the sounds from the bank on my computer(right?). How do I get it to Play the sounds from his keybrd on my PC? Do I nee dto download something? where?
