Cakewalk won't record/play my tracks

My Keyboard is setup fine to the Midisport and then to my computer. But When I try to pick an instrument and record, Cakewalk doesn't seem to get any sound from my midi setup.
Once it seemed to record something and I saw levels, but nothing came out of my computer. If I import an .aiff, Cakewalk plays it just fine.
Any hints?
