You can convert a single instrument monophonic voice to MIDI. It will not
be perfect, but , that's all. If you want to convert multiple instruments and chords,
there's nothing you can do. The only software I know comes with a microphone,
you plu it into your soundcard, and the you can whistle or sing tunes, and record
them to MIDI files. The program is called AutoScore and you can find it at the link below.
