controller playing all instruments

Mac g3 blue/white. motu express midi 8 in 8 out. acess VIRUS, MC 303, FATAR STUDIO 90. OMS, and free midi loadaed. my problem is that when i play the studio 90 (controller), it plays all my instruments. The weird thing is in any sequencer logic, cubase, when an instrument is selected, it plays all of them. when i write data into the sequencer it plays on the respective channels. any suggestions please?
