cannot play midis from this site with Media Player

I cannot play midi files from this site with Media Player (latest version). I can play them with real player only. I can play others that I have archived form other sites on media player as well as real player.
I get an error messge from Media player that says:
Cannot play back the file. format is not supported.
Clicking Details shows this to be
Windows Media Player Error Code 80040265
Any ideas??
