Are you looking for a computer based (software) or a hardware based (dedicated) midi sequencer?
Cubase and Cakewalk are computer software based midi sequencers, and both are fairly good programs. I am not all that familiar with Cubase, as I use Cakewalk.
Yamaha and Roland make some very good hardware sequencers, but these are more pricey than software.
