I have recently picked up a NanoPiano and ... It
sounded so good that I decided to return it to the
store and get the real stuff ... the QS8. With the QS8
I was able to edit the already good sounding factory
pianos to solve a few problems regarding effects,
brightness and split points. I have now a pretty good
piano that I will be posting here soon. Anyway, I was
wondering ... Does the open sample architechture
(FlashRAMs, SoundBridge, etc...) actually make it
possible for me to have any new samples available?
Could I just buy a sample CD-ROM with 8 or 16 megs
pianos, basses, etc... in SampleCell II format and
upload it to FlashRAM cards? Would it be easy to use
this samples (can I also use the sound programming for
SampleCell) or would I have to create whole new
programs to correctly match keyboard and velocity
split points?
