: I have a QS8.1 and a QS7.1. I have been using the hammond patches but have not been totally satisfied with the sound. First there are certain functions/effects assigned to the 4 sliders. In many cases I have no use for reverb and would like some more harmonic flexibility (drawbar control) is there a way to change the slider function to do this? Second, are there any organ patches available for the QS series that sound good? Third, I have looked at the patch list for the Vintage Keys Q-card and see some organ patches but I don't really need all the patches that are in the card. Is there a place I can only get certain patches?
: Thanks,

First, you must have the Q-card to use the patches on it as it contains specific new sample data. As for the faux drawbars, You can assign each slider to control the volume level of a separate tone in patch mode, for example slider A can be for rock organ sample (usually the first 3 draws on a B3) while the others can control samples of the other draws such as 2 2/3', 1', etc. This gives you more flexibility tonally. In Mix mode, the same thing can be done except each slider controls an entire patch. This way you can start with a thin, Memphis-type patch and add balls to it with agritty rock patch. Check your manual on how to assign controllers for the sliders.
