: : Hello,

: Alesis has plans to add key-mapping of samples to a future version of SoundBridge. In the meantime, the Mac version of SoundBridge accepts SampleCell Instrument files, which are collections of AIFF or .WAV files with key and velocity mapping.

: You can key-map 4 regular samples using the program parameters. In some ways this is actually better than a multisample burned into the card, because you can fade gradually between keygroups.

Jon,

I see your point, each keygroup can have its own
program parameters and you can overlap keygroups.
The downside is you use up all the sound
register allocations and 4 samples wont cover too
many octaves. Since I only have PC, I guess I'm
stuck with that for now though. I appreciate the
update and suggestions.

Albert
