If you are sending and receiving messages from the PC, it would have to be a configuration issue, unless there is something broken in the QS. I would check the midi configuration in Unisyn...there should be a pull down menu that will let you make the proper settings. If that doesn't work you might try to initialize the QS 8. I don't know the keys to press off hand, but that info is in the manual.
