I get an error message that External Synth Cannot be found, when I use the serial port adaptor. The linkage works in spite of the error message.
One call to tech support said my cable was no good (HOSA), and that I needed an Alesis cable.
Since no Alesis cords are availabe at any local stores, I called back Alesis. This time they said it was a bug caused by my Pentium II 300, because it is too fast. They had me adjust the port speed on the computer to 38.4 baud.
The problen is still there.
Any help?
