I have the QS8, Compaq laptop running Win98, and am using the serial interface w/the Alesis driver.
I can play the synth fine with Cakewalk 5.0, Cubase, etc. but can't get the keyboard to input to the
software. I have followed the video, tried to make sense out of the manual, but still NO LUCK. This is
my first attempt at computer interface to a keyboard.
I am a computer support department manager, so it's not the computer side that's giving me trouble,
it's the QS8 setup, I believe. Any help would be appeciated.
