The only other way you may be able to change this is by getting a hold of some sample edit software.
I don't use my computer for sample management but i would guess that you should be able to by a program that is similar to a hardware sampler that allows for time stretching of loops without changtng the pitch.
And yet another suggestion would be get RECYCLE a program that actually takes the loops and splits them into separate sounds for use in your own loops.(it takes a beat and chops it into parts-bass,snare,hihat,etc and then you piece them back together and still have the sampled sounds.
