jon...
sounds like a you may be playing everything twice. sounds like a you may be playing everything twice. just kidding.
follow your midi around the campus...midi out on the keyboard to the computer and back. you might find that notes being played on the keyboard while recording might be generating notes to be played on the keyboard, generating notes...well you get the idea. most books have some cautionary notes (pun) about it. i know you could check out the theory by instructing the qs not to respond to midi in....though that might not be the best way to fix it since the next thing you will want to do after recording is fire those midi events back to the qs. ..hope that is some help.
: I'm pretty new with the keyboard and had a few questions. I am pretty new with the keyboard and am having a few problems hooking it up via the serial port on my laptop with cakewalk pro audio 8. It's not that I can't get it hooked up and working somewhat, its that the programs, while I'm recording, sound very strange. They almost sound like I am playing in a tunnel or something. The keyborad mode is on "out 1" which should be correct (I've tried normal and channel solo....and they certainly are not what I want). I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem, or knows what to do. Thanks alot, I appreciate it.
