Hi, Here' s a guess. When you hit Play on cakewalk, did you previously set the Alesis to "Mix GM Multi 00"
so that all tracks play thru all channels? Also, in each track of the song, make sure each instrument has
it's own channel and is not sharing the same channel.

I note that if I leave the Alesis set to a particular program (like Program/ Player Piano or something) that no matter
what instrument I have in Cakewalk, it comes out as the piano. That's the way these things work.

I have run cakewalk and played multi-track songs thru the Alesis keyboard. it DOES work.
