In Mix Mode, press page and the sound selected for midi channel 1 will be shown - choose your first sound with the bank/sound keys. Press edit and then the range button (maybe 70?? - it's function is printed above the button)) then you can select the upper and lower range for the first sound using the page button. Store mix and repeat for secoind sound, using channel 2 and further for up to 16 channel split. You can also change the pitch of any component in the split in case the range of keys produces a lower or higher sound than you would like - that is the pitch function in the edit mode
