I have a QuadraSynth Plus, which I bought in 1995. It worked beautifully for almost two years... After which it began emitting a horrible digital scream from the output. The display reads "CLIP" when this happens. The problem stopped for several months and then began again...
In addition to the extremely nasty, searing noise coming from it, the synth also has trouble keeping any of the settings stable in the display. The numbers fluctuate constantly; I can't set a single parameter.
I've reset the OS several times, to no avail. I've always used a surge protector, so I don't think the synth has been hit with a power spike.
If anyone has had similar problems, or has any idea what might be going on, please reply!
