I'm an S4+ owner/operator looking for recommendations. I
bought my S4+ because of the quality of the sound patches.
They are, for the most part, excellent. Sure the machine
has some quirks with effects control, panning, etc. but I
like the sounds so much that I accept these weaknesses.
Yes, I would buy again if the need came.
However, there are 2 types of sound that I (subjective
opinion) find inferior. They are: INDIVIDUAL brass instruments
(brass sections are fine) e.g. trumpet, trombone and all
manners of guitar. Is there a ROM card or download file that
can fill this gap? BTW: I program a lot of acoustic jazz
and these instruments are often featured in solos so they
must sound authentic.
