I wouldn't bet on the Windows 95/98 serial driver (v3.04) working under Windows 2000 or Windows NT. I would think it would work under the new Windows ME OK, but not Windows 2000. If you have a dual boot of Windows2000 and Win95 or Win98, there may be a better chance of it working OK under Win95/98.
