: Good evening.
: I have the same problem as described so many times before on this list: I cannot get SoundDiver to recognise my Alesis QS-7. And I have never been able to quit it in a normal way, because it always quits ahead of me. Is there any solution to these problems?
: Regards.
Hello!
I have a QS7 and now starting to use SoundDiver and Serial driver (I have mounted my own serial cable), on a PC platform and using the COM4 port.
The same problem w/S.Diver appear to me, but I found a solution (SD is working better now): if you using Alesis serial driver, set the maximum speed the same as the configured in QS.
i.e.: if QS Serial Port = 38,4 kB/s, then
Serial driver maximum speed = 38,4 kB/s !
With this adjustments the performance is better with SoundDiver, UniSyn, Cakewalk or other software.
And, finally, all old problems with SysEx dump are terminated!
I hope this help you!
