f3,
I'm also a Cakewalk PA9/QSR guy. I currently record my QSR though my Mackie Mixer (analog). I'm looking at upgrading my DAW's audio interface to an analog/digital hybrid. Since the QSR's digital output is in ADAT Lightpipe format, that limits my choices of an all-in-one solution. Can I ask you what Lightpipe interface you're using on your computer?
Thanks,
-Alex
: I generally use Cakewalk ProAudio 9 to record the audio produced by my midi sequences onto my computer hard-drive (PC), taking advantage also of the digital output from my QSR to record either a stereo mix from the QSR, or to record individual audio tracks in several passes which I then re-mix to get the final product that is burned to a cd. Generally this is also mixed with other audio tracks recorded using Cakewalk as well.
