Check the manual. In mine it's on page 45, but it's the section on Page 6 of Global Settings - "Keyboard Mode; Out1 through Out16".

You might want to mess around with "CH SOLO" option (p.44).
The manual suggests, and I concur, that you should read Chapter 5 "MIDI" to get a good look at how midi works, particularly in the QS.
