I'm trying to resurrect my Nanosynth...I've been using the Unisyn editor to tweak programs, but can't find a way to make permanent changes to effects settings. I understand that the Nano is permanently in Mix Edit mode, and while I can store edited programs, I can't store changes to the effects settings; even when the program whose effects are used (program #1) is saved, the modified effects are not. Can the Nano even do this? What does it load as the default mix to be edited when powered up? Since it doesn't seem to have any stored mixes, it must just save a copy of the Mix Edit buffers from the last session, and presumably when you select a new program in the specified effects channel, it loads that program's effects setting into the Mix Edit effects buffer.
The Unisyn editor was reputed to have a number of bugs, anyway (was the Nano profile ever updated?)...is there any other editor still available that can store edited Nano effects settings? I found NanoEditPro, but it doesn't work with any MIDI ports on my computers (?)...QControl was another editor that people seemed to like, but the website has disappeared...if they're out of business, is that program available anywhere else? Any other ideas? Thanks...
