although I've never heard of this particular problem before, I'll give you a basic rule of finding errors:
-> Disconnect ANYTHING that's not needed. Connect only the amp or headphones and the power cord. Play with a factory preset.
If it still happens, it's 99.9% a hardware defect.
A possible cause could be a loose wire to the pitch-bend-wheel (just guessed, it could be a hundred other things, too).
Maybe try to alter a program so that it doesn't respond to pitch bend anymore. Or connect a sequencer and let it record all the time. When the error occurs, check the record if there's any pitch bend message to be found (or play it back- if pitch changes at the same time again...)
