: I haven't been able to get the sustain pedal on my QS6.1 to work. As far as I can see, I've got the sustain pedal parameter set to "on". I've made sure the pedal is plugged in before I power up. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to check if the pedal is defective? Thanks for the help--I'm a dumb guitar player.
Dumb guitar player- huh- you have a problem with one pedal and you think your dumb. Boy, give us keyboard players a bunch of guitar pedals and we will be scratching our heads (hmm, how the heck do they do it, 5 pedals, 2 feet, and no pitch bend?? > >)
Anyways, I had problems with my "new at the time" foot pedal. The Alesis pedals are somewhat cheap in that the wire, once it gets inside the pedal, is knotted off. I had to open my pedal up and do some rewiring/re-knotting and the pedal now works fine. Do that first before you waist your time getting another pedal.
