: Hi to everyone...I have had a quadrasynth for 3 years now and have been using the same sounds . Obviously being delighted to find a site like this that is able to offer more sounds, IÄd like to know if someone can tell me more about getting the sounds in to my machine. I have been using an Atari up until a couple of days ago and will now starts using Logic Audio on a PC. Is there an editor out there that will allow me to listen to a sound first before saving it on the quadrasynth? Those of you that have done something similiar with an M1 will now what I mean. Or will I have the problem that I can only dump full banks and will be forced to buy a card to allow me to shuffle around to get my 'dream ' bank .
: Thanks in advance to anyone that can help

Simon,
If you have the CD that comes with the qs series all you need to do is load FREELOADER onto your computer.(If you don't have the CD,FREELOADER is available on this site)
Once you do this you can save your user bank via sysex to your PC.Then using either FREELOADER for whole banks or SOUNDBRIDGE for building individual banks you can load variuos sounds.
It is MUCH easier to use a blank SRAM card(around $45 from PRETEC look on this site under Qcards, etc)to load a whole bank of sounds into your user bank and then save what you want to a blank SRAM.The 256k card holds 4 banks the 512 card holds 8 banks. If you get the 512K you can hold all the extra sounds available on this site on one card.
