: Hi, i think someone recently made a statement that the Yamaha pedal is actually wired backwards from the Roland ev5, but is basically compatible. I personally would be hesitant to rewire the Yamaha since you would not be able to return it once you cut the wires. Maybe pickup a female TRS at Radio Shack, change the wires going out to another male TRS. (that way you don't have to cut the Yamaha plug).
