I've had an Alesis 7.1 ofr over a year. I've been so enamored with playing it that I haven't gotten around to trying sequencing, sampling, or downloading patches. But now I'd like to do so.
I have a G3 powerbook. There is no serial port, only USB. What is the easiest midi interface. Is there someone with the same hardware who can tell me what he or she has done? What software are you using for sequencing and/or sampling. I'm interested in someone else's success story so I can do the same thing with a minimum of hassle.
