- no, not too basic, I'm just starting out :)
One more question - I think the first recording project I get into is going to use a preset mix. Is it best to split the mix sound so that each constituent program is on its own MIDI channel? (out 1-16)
Also, in mixing down to burn the final product to CD, the MIDI has to be rendered into audio - would I have to keep the tracks (channels) separate and record them onto hard disk separately, or can I creaye a single composite track for the sound?
