Tech support probably had you try this but...try this:
Go to Edit>Global. Then check your Keyboard Mode (pg6). It should be "Norm". Then also in Edit>Global check your midi out setting (pg15). It should be set to "Out".
If this doesn't work you have your cables connected wrong or it's the QS.
