I'm having a problem sequencing with my QS8. I normally use the serial port connection. Today, I was listening to a sequence that I had worked on and heard a part that I needed to change. I decided to rerecord the part but when I would hit a key on my synth, I couldn't get any sound.
The synth functions normally when playing back a sequence or when the I'm not using the sequencer.
I've checked to make sure that "midi thru" on Cubasis is selected as well as to make sure that I have the correct baud rate and Channel 1 selected in the global section (Keyboard Mode) of the synth. I've even tried reinstalling Cubasis with no luck.
Any other suggestions?
