What is your MIDI mode set to? Quoting from page
22 of the manual:
"In OUT1-OUT16 mode, you will not hear the QS
unless your sequencer echos the MIDI back to
the QS's MIDI IN."
Try setting it to NORMAL or CH SOLO or ensure
that your sequencer is echoing the MIDI data
back.
