Ya know?...I have the same problem. I have a QS8 that I'm using with Cakewalk Pro-8 and The same things were happening to me. I ended up turning thesysex rcv off on my QS8. That has stopped the sparatic patch changes but I still have stray notes that play all by themselves. It's beyond the range of my keyboard and it seems as if it's not receiving a note off command. There is nothing anywhere in Cakewalk that shows these ghost notes. If anyone has any ideas on this..I'd love to hear them.
