Not sure if you are talking about sequencing from a card or pc. Did you go to global edit and bank>, then page> to page 7.
There you will see if gen midi is on or off. If it is on, it will mess with your program changes. If you are using a pc-based
sequencer such as cakewalk, yuo should find a list of all the control messages for that sequence (in cakewalk, it's view/event list)
Check for errant or rogue controller data. I may be way off base, but those are where I have found some of my problems that
are similar to what you are describing. Oh, and in the sysex window, sometimes there is a gen midi reset or other sysex
info on the first line that you can delete. Touchy stuff, isin't it? Hope that helps.
