neato says: great page...really helps in getting an understanding about what's going on with alesis at the moment,i.e. sales and new models...the relatively large music chain-sam ash currently is selling the qs+ for $899..i believe they have the 6 for $699(but don't quote me)..is there any chance that alesis will incorporate the sequencing without sequencer feature into an upgrade for the plus or will that remain one of the reasons to buy a new model? cheers

Is anyone using their QS+ for R&B music production? I can't seem to locate any QS+ users in this musical genre. I own a Korg 01/W which seems more usable for R&B than my QS+. Anyone have any opinions???(215)596-1430. I do have to give Alesis their 'props' on such a clean high-end sound with DEEP basses.

I have an S4, and my mostly-midi trio just finished recording our first pro-recorded CD. I still cannot get over how great the S4 sounds sound. Maybe someday I'll understand all the effects loops. Of course, I've only had it for two years. The only thing we didn't use it for was the acoustic bass on one tune. But I love the synth and my only complaint is how much the price has dropped since I bought it! :)

With my Qaudrasynth Plus piano came Soundbridge for Mac - having been an Apple II user and burned when they abandoned all their user base, I've no desire in using Apple products. Can I swap (w. It would be helpful to know the weight and dimensions of the QuadraSynth Plus Piano. Also, describe the action of the keyboard. I've been debating whether to get a controller and the QuadraSynth sound module, or the self-contained keyboard. I like the convenience of all-in-one (if it has nice keyboard sensitivity). Thanks for the help. WONDERFUL WEB PAGE!

FYI: recentley here in Philly, the price of the Quadrasynth+ Piano has dropped to around $1000.00, which is an immense deal on such a great keyboard! Spread the word to all those who are thinking about getting one of these. At this price, they won't last too long.

I think this page is a must for every QS user :-) THANK YOU (the only thing I miss is a Editor for the Mac platform) I know there are a few available from Emagic, Opcode, etc. but they are way too expansive because they support almost every MIDI device and not just the QS and so I keep on manual programming as I did before (doesn't matter very much, but a Editor would be helpful). BTW: I just read the message about the discontinuation of "PLUS-upgrade-Kits" and phoned immidiately the distributor of Alesis Products here in Germany and he said that they have some left but will charge DM790,- for the Kit (almost $500 US) which is a unexplainable high difference to the price in the US. I e-mailed alesis to ask for an explanation and let them know that I definitely NOT upgrade for that price and I am curious what their opinion is about this matter and if they have any suggestions. that's it and thank's very much again achim gursch

Have just purchased Quadrasynth Plus, it's the best synth going for the money, or at twice the price. Unbeatable quality of sound and features. Kudo's folks. I tried out a QS6 but it didn't cut it in comparison. Everyone should have one. I have Many other good keyboards (5 to be exact) can't figure out how I did for so long without the Quad! Can't seem to figure out what to do with all my old keys, don't need them any more! Yours, Midilifecrisis.

well I tested side by side the QS6 and quadrasynth... first I was disapointed by the qs6 demo and rather impressed by the quadrasynth one. Mater of tatste I suppose. second I liked best the feel of the large keyboard of the quadrasynth, but I prefered the more knobs of the qs6, more obvious functionaliy. I would like to test the qs8... great job they did at alesis.
