Casio trouble....

I have a brand new computer and a Casio CTK-601 keyboard. But I don't get any signals from the keyboard to the computer. I have no problems playing midifiles, but there's no contact between these two... I think I have to find a driver or something (or is it something else?), but I can't find one. Will a USB cable work better?Can someone please help me???
