: I'm looking for a way to run one keyboard on channel 1, a second keyboard on channel 2 and a Yamaha cbx-t3 on channels 3 thru 16.
The trouble is that I don't know how to turn off channel 1 and 2 of the cbx-t3. Help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Are you running these keyboards and the module from a computer sequencer program?
If so, you can send system exclusive messages to the cbx and turn channels 1 and 2 off.
If you don't have the manual, you can download it from the Synthman Yamaha Support page.
Of course a MIDI daisy chain is not the best solution for controlling multiple instruments. I use, and always recommend multiport MIDI interfaces.
If you have at least a 2 port interface, it will give you control over the module and the two keyboards.
A Midisport 2x2 or 4x4 would work fine.
