: : I'm looking for a way to run one keyboard on channel 1, a second keyboard on channel 2 and a Yamaha cbx-t3 on channels 3 thru 16.
: : The trouble is that I don't know how to turn off channel 1 and 2 of the cbx-t3. Help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

: Are you running these keyboards and the module from a computer sequencer program?
: If so, you can send system exclusive messages to the cbx to turn channels 1 and 2 off.
: If you don't have the manual, you can download it from the Synthman Yamaha Support page.

: Of course MIDI daisy chain is not the best solution.
: I use, and always recommend multiport MIDI interfaces.
: If you have at least a 2 port interface, it will give you control over the module and the two keyboards.
: A Midisport 2x2 or 4x4 would work fine.

Thank you Les. A MIDI interface sounds like it may be the solution. I was kind of hoping that I wouldn't have to add more gear.
