I recently changed my computer from Windows 95 to Windows 98 (yes, I know that I am a Microsoft junkie)
I am using Cakewalk and had no problems in Windows 95. In win 98, I can record about 6 bars
and then the keyboard locks up. The computer seems fine, but whatever notes that I was playing
are stuck on and the midi activity lights on the taskbar stop flashing. When I reboot the PC, I can get
another 6 bars, but am then stuck. Strangely, this doesn't seem to affect playback. Any precreated
file works fine. I have gone into Global edit and tried Normal, Channel Solo, and out 1 and get the
same problem on all.
