I have the right cable hooked up in the right
places (I only have ONE serial port), have tried
both settings, and still cannot get the computer
to recognize the keyboard. I have tried
reinstalling the driver, and the box that comes
up at the end always says connection disabled.
I can pick something called COM 1 in the box, but
that doesn't do it either. Is there anything
else I need to do on the keyboard itself? I have
it set to the serial port for I/O. I am just
using program mode to sequence drums and then bass.
Also, how would I get a Roland serial driver?
Could I download it from their website?
I know it's difficult to diagnose these kinds of
problems, but I would really appreciate any
suggestions anyone might have.
