The problem with Mix Mode on the QS's is this: Only one effect configuration (there are five I think. I.E. 1. Reverb 2. Leslie and Reverb...) can be used for the whole Mix. It really is kind of dumb to have it this way, but I believe in order for every channel (in MIX MODE ONLY. 1-16) to have their own effect, there would have to be sixteen effect processors. Unfortunately there is only one (with five configurations). In Program Mode, every program can have it's own effect. I'm not sure if every sound (1-4) can have their own effect to. I hate how MIX MODE is so limitied effect wise. But some people on this site figured out a way to sort of manipulate MIX MODE more efficiently. If all else fails, read the manual. You'll always pick up something new. Play around with Mix Effect Edit Mode. I know I still need to do it myself. Good Luck.
